Dr. Kwan was born and raised in Orlando, FL. He pursued his undergraduate degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology at the University of Florida. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in Port Orange.
Dr. Kwan has certifications in Applied Kinesiology and the Graston Technique. He has received extensive training in Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson and Activator techniques. Dr. Kwan’s specialties include manual adjustments, extremities adjusting, nutrition and soft tissue manual therapy.
In his youth, Dr. Kwan was exposed to chiropractic care. He was experiencing a migraine that had lasted over a month. It wasn’t until he visited a chiropractor that with one adjustment ended this month long migraine. Being a firm believer in the holistic approach to health care, Dr. Kwan knew he wanted to enter the chiropractic field.
Giving back to the community is Dr. Kwan’s passion. He enjoys volunteer work through his church, shelters and other local charitable organizations.
He decided to join Buchanan Health Center in 2014. He believes in the multi-disciplinary approach and feels it will be the future of health care. Buchanan Health Center is a great environment with caring staff, which is full of passionate patients. He loves serving the people of central Florida, and Dr. Kwan looks forward to helping many people reach a new level of health in their lives!
